VTMS offers maintenance services from gears in the following scope of work:
- General overhaul,
- Emergency repair,
- Inspection,
- Spare parts verification,
The service could be done in port or during the dry docking period. It depends on customer needs.
Overhaul:
- Disassembly and assembly of flexible couplings.
- Disassembly and assembly of SKF couplings.
- Replacement of roller bearings and set of clearances.
- Machining of elements.
- Bushing of housings.
- NDT test.
- Replacement of seal and set correctly.
- Modifications.
- Verifaction of pattern contact.
- Adjustment actuator.
- Replacement of control system components.
- Hydraulic system adjustment.
- Test at sea trial.
Inspection:
- Hydraulic system test.
- Visual inspection flexible couplings.
- Verification of backlash, axial and radial clearances.
- OD-Box test leak.
- Gears condition.
The scope of work to be agreed with Shipowner.
The work carried out is supported by a professional service report, which contains key descriptions and technical specifications.
